🧠 How Do You Keep Your Focus?

Lately, I’ve been juggling a million ideas at once. Starting my own company has given me the freedom to do work I love, but with that freedom comes a challenge: staying focused.

I’ll begin one project, then suddenly recall the eight million other things I want to do! 😅

Here’s what’s been working for me:
✔️ Making a priority list – I focus on sending pitch emails first so I can land new work.
✔️ Committing to my book – I was almost done, but quitting my job made me want to include this new chapter of my life. Writing has been cathartic and has taught me a lot about myself.

💡 Now, I want to hear from you! 🗣️
How do you stay focused? Share your best tips, and I’ll feature some in social media posts!

🎙️ What This Episode is About

Why is discussing grief so difficult? Why does society shy away from conversations about loss, trauma, and mental health? How do our childhood experiences influence how we process grief as adults?

In this episode, we sit down with Honey Badger, an educator and mental health advocate, to discuss:

💔 The impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) – How early trauma affects our emotional and physical health later in life.
💡 The unspoken rules of grief – Why society often encourages us to “move on” too quickly and how that can be harmful.
🛠️ Tools for processing trauma – How understanding your past can help you heal and build resilience.

Grief is complicated, messy, and deeply personal—but by talking about it openly, we can create a healthier and more compassionate approach to loss.
