This Episode will drop on Tuesday at 3 AM Eastern

Hello, amazing readers! 😊

Before we dive in, we want to give a quick trigger warning for this week’s episode. The conversation touches on sensitive topics like eating disorders, trauma, mental health struggles, and abusive relationships. Please prioritize your well-being—if it feels overwhelming, it’s perfectly okay to pause or step away. 💛 Your mental health is what matters most.

We’re excited to bring you another heartfelt episode of Shit That Goes On In Our Heads, which will be available on Tuesday, 10/22/24, at 3 AM Eastern. This week’s episode is titled:

“Ella’s Story of Resilience: Battling Trauma and Eating Disorders – Part 1”

What an Incredible Journey This Has Been! 🤍

Honestly, I’m still taking it all in. Last Friday, I had the honor (and the nerves!) of being the Keynote Speaker at the Meant2BeWell Summit, and it was such a powerful experience. If you didn’t catch it live, you can still watch the replay here. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to contribute to such an important conversation around mental health.

To add to the excitement, just before my keynote, we received some truly humbling news—our podcast won the 2024 Women In Podcasting Award for Mental Health! I’m still blown away. Dirty Skittles and I are beyond grateful. Our podcast is just 20 months old, and we could never have imagined something like this happening. This award is all thanks to you—our listeners, guests, and supporters. You can watch the award ceremony here.

And that’s not all! In September, we also won the People’s Choice Podcast Award, and that, too, feels surreal. Both of these awards were voted on by you, which makes them even more meaningful. We are deeply thankful for your support. 💜🙏

This weekend, I took a break to enjoy the gorgeous fall colors 🍁 and some crisp, fresh air. It reminded me of the small, beautiful things that can help lift our spirits, especially when life feels overwhelming. What helps you find your happy? I’d love to know!

Our Store is Open! 🛍️

Exciting news! Our podcast store is officially open, and we’re offering some fun merch featuring both our original logo and a safe-for-work/kids version. Head over to our store to take advantage of a 20% discount on items (though some restrictions apply).

We’re keeping profits low to make everything affordable, so if the discount doesn’t apply to certain items, it’s because we’re already offering them at the lowest possible price. And if you don’t see something you love, let me know—I’m always happy to work on new designs! 😊
