πŸ’› Doing Things That Are Good for Your Soul

Hey friends, it’s G-Rex here. πŸ¦–πŸ’›
Sometimes life moves so fast, we forget to stop and just breathe.

This past weekend, I finally took a day to slow down β€” and it ended up being exactly what my soul needed.

My wife and I, along with a couple of close friends, set off on a little adventure around upstate New York. πŸŒ³πŸš—βœ¨
We wandered through breathtaking waterfalls at Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls, soaked up the beautiful spring sunshine, grabbed brunch, made a quick stop at a winery (don’t worry, I was the designated driver 😎), explored the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, and treated ourselves to some much-needed ice cream. 🍦🐦

There were no big plans, no expectations β€” just good food, good friends, nature, laughter, and the kind of joy that fills your heart without even trying. 🌸
My heart is still so full.

Meanwhile, Dirty Skittles is living her best life down in Georgia! πŸŒžπŸ¦‹
She’s reconnecting with nature, taking care of her mental health, and savoring her own beautiful moments of soul care.

We may be in different places, but we’re on the same mission:
To find joy in the little things and prioritize what truly matters. 🫢

How are YOU kicking off your spring? 🌷
Reply and let us know β€” we’d love to hear your stories!

πŸŽ™οΈ What This Episode Is About

This week’s episode is deeply personal and incredibly powerful. πŸ’¬πŸ«Ά
We sit down with Pearl Chiarenza, a mental fitness life coach, author, and speaker who shares her raw and inspiring journey of living through grief and choosing to grow around it.

Pearl opens up about the devastating loss of her son, the difficult family dynamics she had to navigate, and the powerful steps she’s taken to rebuild her life with purpose, resilience, and heart. 🌿

Through her story, we explore:
- The reality of grief β€” how it reshapes us and how to honor it without letting it define us.
- The importance of mental fitness β€” why tending to your emotional and mental wellbeing is non-negotiable.
- The strength of setting boundaries β€” even when it’s painful, even with family.
- The beauty of reconnecting with yourself β€” and giving yourself full permission to thrive again. 🌸

This conversation is about loss, love, healing, and hope.
It’s about remembering that no matter what we’ve been through, we still have the power to live, to laugh, and to be the author of our next chapter. πŸ“–βœ¨
